"Red October Tour Company

all expectations!" In
August, nine of us toured for two
days with this company. No visa is
needed and nothing from the ship,
Mike Finn sent to us RO Vouchers.
Just the voucher and your USA
passport get you through Russian
Customs.
We had no difficulty leaving the ship
upon docking and
then Red October with a
very nice and comfortable van. We
started touring at 7:30AM upon our
ships arrival, and we chose not to
return until 7:00PM so we could see
as much as possible. The guide, Dmitri, was unbelievably
knowledgeable, and it is better if
you let them know as you go along
how much you really want to hear.
The tour is expensive as compared to
other tours in other areas,
but it is 100% worth every dollar.
Also, if you choose to spend more
time at one site, less than another
let the guide know. We seemed to be
able to jump all the (lengthy) queues as Red October
seem to have a magic pass directly into every palace
and museum. Mike Finn, US Office looked after all
the paperwork, vouchers, etc., and everything
arrived in good time before our departure for
Russia. Take food from
the ship; it will save you time.
Also, take the guide and driver some
sandwiches which are appreciated.
Also, take water. Fantastic,
everything you see, and we are
experienced travelers. We spent two

Mike: The tour was
OUTSTANDING!!! Probably the best tour I've
ever taken anywhere. I think all of our
group (16 people) would agree. We had Helen
for our guide and she was fantastic. Her
knowledge blew us away! Despite the fact
our ship was 2 hours late arriving, we had
no trouble with customs and Helen was there
to greet us. The Hydrofoil had to be
canceled due to weather, but we got to see
other interesting things, and we made up the
lost time on day one by touring later, and
starting day 2 a little earlier. Again,
