Red October
USA ("The Independent USA Company") provides Travel Management and booking service
to Corporations and cruise ship tourists ("The Customer") for City Tours
and Shore Excursions in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia operated by
Red October Company, St. Petersburg, Russia ("The Independent Tour Operator").
Red October
Company ("The Independent Tour Operator") operating in St.
Petersburg, Russia, provides all City Tours, Shore Excursions and
services in St. Petersburg and Moscow, Russia.
Red October
USA
has no control of The Independent Tour Operator their Prices and their
Business. Red October USA acts solely as The Customer’s agent, helping The
Customer in booking of City Tours, Shore Excursions and Services.
The
Customer agrees that Red October USA has no liability for any nature of
death, personal injury, damage of personal property, or breach of
service, which result from any act, omission, fault or negligence of The
Independent Tour Operator regarding City Tours, Shore Excursions and
Services.
The
Customer waives the rights for all claims against Red October USA for any
such damages. The Customer agrees to not hold Red October USA liable and
defend Red October USA if any action is brought against Red October USA because
of any injury, death, and personal property damage to The Customer or
any breach of services.
All
valuable personal property carried on City Tours and Shore Excursions at
the risk of The Customer and should always be in The Customer’s
possession.
The
Customer agrees that all claims for all personal injury, damage of
personal property, or breach of service will be covered under The Trip
Insurance Policy which The Customer purchased separate or together with
the Cruise bookings. Red October USA nor The Independent Tour Operator does
not sell such Insurance policy.
Red October
USA
reserves the right to change itineraries of City Tours, Shore Excursions
and prices appearing on this website per Independent Tour Operator's
advise without prior notice to Customer.
Red October
USA
shall not be hold liable for any loss due to weather conditions, museums
or palaces closure, or any other overpowering circumstances. The City
Tours and Shore Excursions will be cancelled and a full refund of
Deposit will be made to The Customer.
Red October
USA
shall not be hold liable for any loss due any conditions make it
impossible for the airplane to land on time or cruise ship to dock and
disembark passengers, the City Tours and Shore Excursions will be
cancelled and a full refund of Deposit will be made to The Customer. You could
purchase a less expansive than Cruise sells it's Insurance Policy thru
any insurance co. like Access America - they sell Travel insurance,
vacation insurance, travel medical insurance, travel health insurance...
the list goes on. And their customers buy travel insurance for many
reasons. Whether for leisure or business travel, travel insurance is
critical in today's uncertain world to protect your travel investment,
health, belongings and vacation memories.
Payment and Cancellation Policy for cruise ship
tourists.
Deposit for your City Tour or Shore Excursion is
required at booking. Deposit payment to
Red October
USA must be made
by US Funds Bank account Personal Check or by Money Order only (sorry,
no Cash or Credit Cards).
BALANCE PAYMENT
MATTER:
All
prices quoted in RO programs are calculated on the 2011 year average
dollar/ruble rate of exchange basis: 1 USD = 29 rubles. This
means if you pay by credit card when RO charges you in rubles, RO shall
use Central Bank of Russia current rate of exchange in the Summer 2012
BUT NOT LESS than 29 rubles for 1 dollar!
In case
of dollar going up, the rate of exchange we use, subject to change
accordingly. You are expected to pay either by
cash (US dollars, EURO or Russian rubles) or credit card like VISA,
Master Card. RED OCTOBER RUSSIA does not accept American Express cards
and Travelers checks.Please kindly be advised when you pay by credit
cards RO charges you in rubles since you are not local resident and pay
in a foreign country. When you come home, your bank charges you in
dollars but you definitely lose some money on bank rate of exchange
fluctuations and all bank commissions. This difference cannot be
dramatic as RU uses current rate of exchange in the Central Bank of
Russia the day you are paying. Also, please NOTE that
your Bank will charge you a transaction and exchange fee. My
recommendation is to pay cash per your Quote and then it is without any
conversion and simple. You can obtain US Dollars Cash at Ship’s Pursers
Desk.
Total Price, Balance Payment, any Extra charges
and Money Exchange Rates are NOT
Red October USA Responsibility and The Customer waives the rights
for all claims against
Red October USA for any Extra charges, Exchange Rate
Calculations and any Payments made to The Independent Tour Operator.
100% refund of deposit will be given to The
Customer, if the City Tour or Shore Excursion cancellation is made 14
days before the
Cruise Initial Sail day.

No
refund of deposit (100% lose of Deposit), if the City Tour or Shore
Excursion cancellation is made in less than 14 days of the sailing day or
non-appearance at the airport or sea Port where the City Tour or Shore
Excursion is booked for.
No refunds will be given for Gold Room visit,
and any Evening activities such as Shows, Ballet, Opera tickets and for
evening transportation. Booking for these activities MUST be done 2 mo. in
advance.
No refunds will be given on any City Tour or Shore
Excursion for no-shows.
City Tour or Shore Excursion ticket vouchers must
be returned before written Request for refunds can be made. Refund
processing time is about two weeks.
*Group
size reductions (partial Group cancellations) if less than 14 days
before Cruise Date:
For groups where the price per person depends on the number of
participants in the party there will be no Deposit refund,
and no Price Reduction if some members of your group
decide to cancel Tour for ANY REASON. When one or any
number of persons cancels tour the Total Tour Cost of the
group shall be now be divided by a lesser number of people, so it will
result in a price increase for the remaining group members. This is a
totally internal issue among your group members and it should be sorted
out among your group members.
Please NOTE: Very Important!
NO refund is given for NO SHOW or a partial Tour.
Release:
In consideration of our registration to Tour in St.
Petersburg, Russia, we intend to be legally bound, hereby on behalf of
ourselves, our executors, heirs and assigns, wave and release Red
October USA and all of its affiliates from any and all rights and
claims for damages or overpayments, Exchange rates, Bank Charges,
damages of personal property, breach of service, damages have arising
out of injuries, illness, and/or death. We decline to purchase Travel
Insurance Policy. We represent and warrant that we are physically and
mentally fit and that, as a result, able to participate, and we do
hereby assume all responsibility for our own well being.
We have read and agree to this Release and
Disclaimer.
